Allied Professionals Committee

Committee Purpose:
Coordinate with other organizations to provide broader mix of educational and social meetings. Provide opportunities for our members to network with pertinent professionals but directly outside that of financial planning. Help increase our chapter meeting attendance.
Goals for the Year:
Represent FPA Spokane at Financial Service Alliance (FSA) quarterly meetings; Cross promote meetings/events with other allied professional groups (AICPA/CFA Society); Provide networking opportunities with other allied professionals

Committee Purpose:
The Sponsorship team engages the current and future sponsors to help maintain the funding that is so crucial for FPA’s longevity.
Goals for the Year:
Provide sponsors with valuable networking opportunities with the members of FPA Spokane. We will continue to value our sponsors and make sponsorship desirable for an even greater number of partners.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are currently looking for committee members to assist with securing and building relationships with sponsors.

Committee Purpose:
Bring the most enriching and helpful content to our financial planner members. Our goal is to develop skills and knowledge you can act on, delivered by engaging and enlightening speakers. Through our events we hope to encourage and retain membership for FPA Spokane.
We source a variety of topics and speakers for the chapter, not only technical knowledge, but also practice management and industry trends.
Goals for the Year:
Increase membership and depth of our committee. Encourage better programs with more diverse content and great speakers.
Volunteer Opportunities:
The Programs committee is actively bringing on new committee members to help develop the educational lineup and assist with session coordination for all events.

Committee Purpose:
The purpose of this committee is to generate interaction on our social media outlets to better and further share the virtues of FPA membership, chapter events and chapter meetings, and to share tidbits of knowledge learned at those different events. The committee also serves to engage in and help to organize further communication with members through maintaining a current and relevant web presence.
Goals for the Year:
Build a website to include news and updates on what is happening in the FPA Spokane chapter and in the FPA on a national level. Create social media presence on Facebook and LinkedIn to stay connected with the member base and provide event information and important reminders to members and potential members.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Looking for members to submit photos of events to be shared on our social platforms.
